conversation tins
February 12, 2009

The Conversation Tin developed a few years back when I was getting ready to take a road trip across the US. I was afraid the conversation would run dry through hours of driving, so I asked people at a party to write down conversation topics and put them in the tin. It became a HUGE deal at the party and people were dropping them in like crazy. Their topics ranged from being funny, to serious, with some introductory questions like, “first music purchase”or “if you could program a Delorean, to which time would you travel ” “Colonal Sanders”, etc. Needless to say it provided us with hours of entertainment, so I mass-produced them with some original designs and have been selling them. There are 7 designs for sale on Etsy and they are also for sale at Urbanic too - Audrey wrote her 100th post about it on the Parcel Post blog where there’s a link to upload new ideas for future tins – a totally exciting thing.
